Le Fou de Coucou makes beachcomber clocks from materials found on the Terschelling beach or recovered from shipwrecks. The clocks of clockmakers Irina Filcer and Aart Kramer vary from simple quartz to elaborate mechanical cuckoo clocks.
Kramer studied audiovisual design at the Minerva Academy and the AKI. He worked as a cameraman and director for VPRO television and on various documentaries, exhibitions and theatre productions.
